What laws regulate the setting up of a crypto fund in Singapore?


The Securities and Futures Act regulates fund management and the Payment Services Act regulates Digital Payment Tokens. Depending on business, anyone who wants to set up a crypto fund will need to register as a registered fund management companies (RFMC) or obtain Capital Markets Services LicenseĀ  to operate as a licensed fund management companies (LFMC), and/or a Payments Institution Licence (under the PSA).
