    • Wuhan, China, 3 January 2020… The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) held the 4th MAS-CSRC Supervisory Roundtable on 27 December 2019, where both regulators agreed to foster greater cross-border capital market activities between Singapore and China

    •  Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX) and the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) today announced details of the SGX-MAS Research Incentive Scheme.  The scheme aims to enhance research coverage of stocks listed on SGX and provide investors with more information to facilitate their investment decisions.
    • Companies listed on SGX and all qualified research firms are eligible for the scheme, subject to the approval of SGX and MAS.

    • MAS granted an exemption to five IDBs from holding a CMS licence for trading in futures contracts.
    • The FMC was also required to notify MAS of any proposed material changes to its conduct of the regulated activity or to the intended structure of the arrangements of its fund management activity as represented to MAS.

    • The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) will be holding its first MAS Lecture on 24 March 2000.
    • Audio and video recordings of the MAS Lecture will be made available at MAS' Internet website. Internet users can download the recording from 6.00pm on 24 March 2000. The full-text of Mr William J McDonough's keynote address will also be made available on the website.
