Managing personal data (PDPA)
How does the PDPA apply if we want to conduct analytics and research activities?
a) You are encouraged to use anonymised data as far as possible as it is not personal data.
b) However, the PDPA provides several exceptions for you to use personal data without consent provided that you can meet the requirements and put in place safeguards. Please refer to Part 5 of the First Schedule and Division 2 under Part 2 of the Second Schedule of the PDPA for more information.
