How do I close a VCC or a sub fund?
A VCC may apply to ACRA to strike off its name from the Register. ACRA may approve the application if there is reasonable cause to believe that the VCC is not carrying on business, and it is able to satisfy the criteria for striking off.
An umbrella VCC may apply to ACRA to dissolve its sub‑fund(s) on the grounds that:
- an umbrella VCC is not carrying on any business in relation to any of its sub-funds; or
- a sub-fund of an umbrella VCC is not in operation
