What are the types of Fund Management companies?
Fund management activities are regulated under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA), a fund manager must be registered with MAS or hold a capital markets services (CMS) licence to operate. It can operate as:
- Registered fund management company (RFMC) or
- Licensed fund management company (LFMC)
- Venture capital fund manager (VCFM)
